Places to visit when you go to Korea

안녕하세요, Haneul 입니다~ In today's blog, I want to share with you some of the most popular places to visit if you are going to Korea

1. Gyeongbokgung Palace





If you are planning to go to Seoul, be sure to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, which once had more than 7.000 rooms! Impressive, right? Gyeongbokgung continued to serve as the main palace of the Joseon dynasty until the premises were destroyed by fire during the Imjin War and abandoned for two centuries.


2. Jogyesa T emple






Other place to visit is Jogyesa Temple. It is located in one of the most popular cultural streets in Seoul, Insa-dong. It is very close to Gyeongbokbung Palace!


3. National Museum of Korea




If you love the Korean art and history, be sure to visit National Museum of Korea. In 2012, it was reported that since its relocation to Yongsan District in 2005, the museum has attracted an attendace of 20 million visitors, or over 3 milion annually which makes it one of the most visited art museums in the world as well as third most visited in Asia and the most visited in Korea! {AMAZING!}


4. Hongdae






If you like nightlife (like me), be sure to visit Hongdae! The Hongdae area is known as a trendy cafe and nightlife area for students and is well known for its indie scene,urban street arts and underground musicians. Many known bands, like Jaurim, Crying Nut and Peppertones are from this street and started as indie bands. The area provides street art festivals and performances, as well as music concerts by independent artists and mainstream entertainers.


5. Lotte World





You must see Lotte World! Lotte Worldis a major recreation complex in Seoul, South Korea. It consist of the world's largest indoor theme park (a Guinness World Record), and outdoor amusement park called "Magic Island", and artificial island inside a lake linked by monorail shopping malls, a luxury hotel, a Korean folk museum, sport facilities and movie theathers. Opened on July 12, 1989, Lotte World recives 7.3 million visitors each year!


6. N Seoul T ower





And the last one is... N Seoul Tower! It is a communication and observation tower located on Namsan Mountain in central Seoul, South Korea. \At 236 m, it marks the second highest point in Seoul. Built in 1971, the N Seoul Tower is Korea's first general radio wave tower, providing TV and radio broadcasting in Seoul. Currently, the tower broadcasts signals for Korean media outlets, such  as KBS, MBC and SBS.
